"The course provided an overview of the CCPNMR Analysis program and selected software packages that are integrated with it. Topics 
ranged from the basics of the Analysis interface, over the different strategies for systematic resonance assignment, to conclude with 
the exporting of the data for structure calculation using CYANA. Example data were provided for a realistic protein sample, and the
tutorials cover all the steps to go from zero to a complete assignment of backbone and side chain resonances. Although it proved
impossible to complete the entire assignment procedure during the available five days, the fact that we came very close underlines 
the great potential of the CCPNMR package. The ongoing development of the software and the direct interaction between the lecturer,
course participants and CCPNMR developers allows existing problems to be solved and new functionality to be developed."

"As you know for me the course in Vilnius was the really first contact with NMR data and the first time I was working with a specialized software for analyzing it. Having the context, I will be very schematic:

Positive aspects:

 

• the location and all the logistics were great
• the preexisting projects were made as such that after one week it was achievable the main goal data to structure
• the material was very nice explained and illustrated
• the exercises and the supporting material for them. Back in the lab I used quite a lot the extra documents you printed out.
• to have one of the software "creator" was very useful

 

To conclude, in the beginning of that course I had no information about how a spectrum could be analyzed and after one very intense week :) I discovered a strategy to deal with NMR data. Back in the lab I used CCPNMR without having difficulties. "
